The Perfect Avocado Smoothie

I know what you're probably thinking right now...avocados are made for guac and not for smoothies. Even as I was making this smoothie, I thought the same thing. Yet, when I tried some, I realized that avocado may quite possibly be the best addition to smoothies ever. 

Not only does an avocado give smoothies a creamy and "shake-like" texture, but it also can help your body absorb more antioxidants in the smoothie and can regulate blood sugar. It's also a healthy source of fat and potassium. 

There are so many different types of avo smoothies, but here is a traditional and creamy one that is super simple to modify depending on your preferences!


 Ingredients

    -Half avocado (frozen)

    -One banana (frozen)

    -Almond milk (about 9 oz)

    -Dash of Vanilla Extract

    -Honey (if needed)
